The Mechlance Platform may include links to external websites. We bear no responsibility for the privacy practices or content of these third-party websites or for websites that link to the Mechlance Platform. When you click on a link, logo, or similar item, please be aware that you may exit the Mechlance Platform. To ascertain your location on the Internet, check the URL displayed in your browser. We encourage you to review the privacy policies posted on all third-party websites, as their privacy practices may differ from ours.
Information Collected during Registration
During the registration process, when you create an Account or apply to become a Technician, we gather and retain information provided by you, which may include Personally Identifiable Information, specifically identifying you or your account. At a minimum, you may be required to submit your first name, last name, password, street address, city, state, zip/postal code, country, phone number, email address, and details concerning your vehicle, such as its license plate, VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), make, model, year, and engine size. Technician applicants will also furnish information about their repair skills and their capacity to perform Vehicle Services. For taxation purposes, Technicians in the United States are mandated to provide their Federal Tax ID or Social Security Number, as applicable. Credit card payments may necessitate the entry of a valid credit card number and cardholder name. We may include other optional information requests in the future to enhance our ability to tailor the Mechlance Platform and provide personalized information. For marketing purposes, we may supplement our information with data acquired from third-party sources.
Requesting Data Deletion from Mechlance
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data from Mechlance when it is no longer necessary or has been used unlawfully. Mechlance provides two methods for data removal:

b) Send an email to support@MechlanceMobileMechanic.com to request data deletion.
We will confirm receipt of your deletion request within 10 business days and respond to deletion requests within 45 calendar days. These methods may also be used for inquiries or requests related to your personal data or corrections to it.
Call and SMS Data
Our Services facilitate communication between Mechlance, our customers, and Technicians. To enable this service, we collect call data, including call or SMS message timestamps, phone numbers of the parties involved, and SMS message content. Online Order Placement and Management
The private and shared sections of the Mechlance Platform facilitate communication, information exchange, and sharing among Mechlance, our customers, and Technicians. Information from work orders, accessible by you, Mechlance, and the contracted Technician, may be used for statistical analysis, product development, marketing, and research purposes. We maintain the right to monitor communications on the Mechlance Platform and may terminate usage if we suspect violations of our agreements, international, federal or state laws, or our policies.
Online Surveys and Contests
Periodically, we conduct online user surveys to collect information about user preferences. Participation in these surveys is optional, and if you choose to participate, your responses remain anonymous. Contests may also be offered to eligible individuals, requiring contact and demographic information, such as name, email address, and mailing address. This information is not shared with third parties, except in summary form, if at all. Demographic data collected during registration and through online surveys aids us in enhancing our services to meet customer and Technician preferences. It may also guide our advertising efforts. Information gathered through contests may be disclosed to third parties only for prize fulfillment and contest-related activities.
Mechlance Payment System
We offer a payment system that permits customers to make credit card payments (the "Payment System"). When utilizing the Payment System, we collect credit card numbers and other pertinent financial institution information for billing purposes. We may also share this information with third parties as required to complete billing operations on behalf of Technicians. Fleet Customers can employ alternative payment mechanisms, such as Automated Clearing House (ACH) or other prearranged methods.
Cookies and Automatically Gathered Information
Occasionally, we conduct online user surveys to collect information about our users’' preferences. These surveys are optional, and if you choose to respond, your responses will be kept anonymous. Similarly, we may offer contests to qualifying people in which we ask for contact and demographic information such as name, email address, and mailing address. None of this information is shared with third parties, except in summary form, if at all. The demographic information that we collect in the registration process and through online surveys is used to help us improve our services to meet the needs and preferences of our customers and Technicians. This may include targeting advertising to you about our services. Information we gather through a contest may also be disclosed to third parties as necessary for prize fulfillment and other aspects of any contest or similar offering.

For the billing of retainers and services, we employ external credit card processing services. We believe these service providers do not retain, share, store, or utilize Personally Identifiable Information for secondary purposes. We take measures to ensure that transaction intermediaries do not employ Personally Identifiable Information for purposes unrelated to the Services.
On the Mechlance Platform, work orders are fulfilled by third-party Technicians (“Technicians”). Once a project is awarded on our platform, we may share email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, and other relevant information between users and Technicians to facilitate project completion. However, Technicians are strictly prohibited from using Personally Identifiable Information for any purpose other than providing Vehicle Services.
Comments and Feedback Submitted by Users
At Mechlance Inc & MobileMechanic.com, we are committed to continuous improvement and value user input to enhance the quality and user experience of our Service. We encourage users to provide feedback and suggestions for the betterment of the Mechlance Platform and Service operation. You can submit your comments via email to hello@MechlanceMobileMechanic.com. When you send us comments, we may receive your email address or User ID, as well as your location country. While providing this information is optional, if you choose to do so, we will solely use it to acknowledge or respond to your comments. Submitting comments via email will not result in the receipt of secondary or promotional material unless explicitly requested by you. In some instances, we may seek your permission to feature your comments in marketing or promotional materials. Feedback you provide through the Mechlance Platform or Service may be accessible to other users and, in certain cases, publicly available.
We employ commercially reasonable methods to maintain the security of Personally Identifiable Information in our systems and files. Our payment site utilizes secure Internet connections, incorporating SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption, to safeguard your financial data. However, it's important to recognize that we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your Personally Identifiable Information during its transmission over the Internet. We recommend exercising caution when determining the information you disclose online.
Terminating Your Account
We retain your Personally Identifiable Information until the termination of your account with us. To initiate the termination process, please contact Mechlance Customer Service through the contact information provided on our website. Once your account is terminated, your Personally Identifiable Information cannot be recovered. You may continue to receive email communications for a brief period as we update our databases. After account termination, your Personally Identifiable Information may be retained in our archived database and records for a reasonable duration as residual information. This residual information will not be used for business development purposes, but we reserve the right to retain and employ any data, including Personally Identifiable Information, as necessary for internal business functions. This may include investigation, dispute resolution, legal or tax compliance obligations, or other internal business purposes. We will uphold information pertaining to users who have been removed due to policy violations.

Transmittal of Data
Mechlance Inc & MobileMechanic.com primarily operates within the United States and Canada. Our services and platforms are predominantly intended for use within these regions. We retain the right to transmit data, including Personally Identifiable Information, submitted by individuals outside of the United States into the United States. By using our services, you expressly consent to this data transmission.
