REPAIR DETAILS

Suddenly have a "dead. no start" when turning the key. Complete silence. Nothing. No click. Car is well maintained. Always garaged and typically starts and runs 100% fine. Battery is 100% charged (kept on a trickle charger). I'm hoping to find a mechanic familiar with the older SLs and available to do basic diagnosis at my home. The car is showroom clean and kept in an extremely well-equipped and well-lit garage. Air compressor, wide variety of bench and hand tools available if needed. At this point I'd like to pay for troubleshooting and diagnosis...and hopefully, for the complete repair. Ideally, hoping to establish an ongoing relationship with someone to help with continued upgrades, restoration work and maintenance. Not a one-time deal. I'm retired, here all the time so appointment can be at your convenience.
