REPAIR DETAILS

Bear with this explanation: I started to change out the coolent. I drained the radiator by removing the stop cock and dirty orange dexcool came out. At that same time, on the other side of the radiator/or hose leak, clean orange coolent came out. I captured in different container and the coolent looked new. So number 1, I must have a leak somewhere. I was told to test the system with a pressurizer tool which I don't have. Secondly, I poured one gallon distilled water into the reservoir expecting it to flow into the radiator, but it didn't. So I started it up expecting the pump to flow the water into the radiator - making sure the engine didn't get too hot. The hottest I allowed it was around 150-160 degrees. The system never pressurized. So number 2 - I clearly don't know how to do this as I'm used to the older fashioned radiators with the cap on top. I was hoping to flush/clean out the system and add new dexcool to system(which I have). I also have plenty of distilled water and bottle of coolent flush. I figured this would be easy but. The car has run fine(including the cooling system) for years. I'm worried there was a plug in the system where the clean coolent leaked out from also. So that's about it. I had today off. I do have tomorrow off, and this coming thursday off (10/21). Otherwise I can do it in the morning between 9 am and noon Monday through Wednesday. I'm in Saint Cloud. I'll need someone to figure out what's going on and help get it right. I had figured it would take me an hour today so I figure that's about what I'll need in service. I hope the above explains it well enough. If you think it needs more time just put it in your bid. If you have questions, ask. My max budget is based on about an hour.
